It's time for the annual Beach Handball tournament you know and love!
If you're new to Sandball, it’s a recreational tournament, so anyone can come have a blast in the sand with us. It is co-ed, so guys and girls, old and young are all invited to join in.
The game is played four-on-four, with one goalkeeper and three court players playing at a time. There should always be 2 guys and 2 girls on the court. Substitutions tend to be made frequently, so a team should be comprised of at least 8 people.
Most goals count for one point each; alley-oops (goals scored when the ball is caught & thrown while in the air), goals scored by the goaltender, and "spectacular goals" count for two points each.
If you can't get a full team together, we allow individual registration too. If you are having trouble finding a team, we will find one for you! There is no reason not to join the fun.
Registration can be done by email, snail mail, or in person. All players must submit their full name, address, and phone number. Teams should submit a team name and jersey (t-shirt) color, as well as the roster.
Registration fees are $20 for individuals, or $120 per team. There will be eight teams in this year's tournament, so we will only be accepting the first eight teams with paid registration.
Individuals must bring a white shirt and a black shirt to play in.
Late registration will be available on site for $25 per player. Late entries will be limited.
